For over 40 years, the people of All Valley Fire Inspections and Services, Inc. have been providing the Treasure Valley with high-quality fire life safety inspections, maintenance, services, and installations.

Areas we serve include Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, and Caldwell. We also serve clients in McCall, Payette, Mountain Home, Twin Falls, Jerome, Burley, and Pocatello, along with Ontario, Oregon.
Meet Our Team
Jon Edes, Co-Owner
Jon has been in the fire sprinkler industry since 1994. He continues to work diligently to know and understand all aspects of the fire sprinkler industry from installation, testing, and inspecting, to trouble shooting, repairs, system design, and business management. As a proud member of the Idaho Fire Protection Forum board, Jon enjoys the opportunity to give back to the industry and the community.
Jon grew up in Idaho and loves the outdoors, family and the All Valley Fire team. In the winter you can find him cheering on his kids at a basketball game, or in the mountains playing in the snow. When it's warm he enjoys golf, tournament bass fishing, and fly-fishing alongside his lovely bride. He is passionate about the fire sprinkler industry and loves the people he works with. He believes that honesty, hard work, and education are what make a business successful. Above all he believes God is his boss and strives to work each day in way that would honor Him.
Jim LaFond, Co-Owner
Jim has been in the fire sprinkler industry since 1981. Jim enjoys the nuts and bolts side of the fire sprinkler industry, and the relationships he has made over the years.
In his free time you will find Jim barbecuing/smoking many different types of food, and spending time with his long-time bride and their children and grandchildren. Jim's hobbies include golfing, and coin- and sports card-collecting.
George Edes, Co-Owner
George has been in the fire sprinkler industry since 1972. He was the co-owner of Treasure Valley Fire Protection for 34 years.
George enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, traveling, and spending time with his family and his loving wife Wendy.
Kari Walter, Office Manager
Kari came to All Valley fire with 20+ years of customer service and management experience. She has worked in fields ranging from owning her own retail business to being a Medical Assistant.
Kari is an Idaho native who has only been a permanent resident since moving here from Colorado in 2011. She and her husband Greg are avid outdoors people who love to take their Toy Hauler and off-road vehicles (Jeep Wrangler and Polaris Rzr) exploring all over Idaho and its surrounding areas.
Russ Kearby, Inspection Foreman
Russ started in the fire sprinkler industry in 1994 and has worked in the inspection division since 2007. He currently holds certifications in Backflow Testing, Fire Pump Testing, and training in specialty hazard systems.
Russ enjoys 80's rock, motorcycles, playing the drums, traveling the world, and fishing.
Jeff Stom, Inspection Foreman
Jeff started in the fire sprinkler industry in 2000. He has been a licensed Fire Sprinkler Fitter Foreman since 2007 and currently holds certifications in Backflow Testing, Fall Protection, Fork Lift, Aerial Lift, HILTI Power Actuated Tools, Confined Space, and CPVC.
Jeff is an Idaho native who enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys camping, traveling, and working around the yard.
Jeremy Stairs, Inspections/Installations Manager
Jeremy started in the fire sprinkler industry in 2002. He has been a licensed Fire Sprinkler Fitter Foreman since 2009 and currently holds certifications in Backflow Testing, Fall Protection, Fork Lift, Aerial Lift, HILTI Power Actuated Tools, and CPVC.
When Jeremy is not at work he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing, and riding horses. He has a passion for the outdoors and hunting big game in the mountains of Idaho with family and friends.
Cole Nelson, Inspections/Installations
Cole started in the fire sprinkler industry in 2006. He has been a licensed Fire Sprinkler Fitter Forman since 2013 and currently holds certifications in Backflow Testing, Fall Protection, Fork Lift, Aerial Lift, 30 Hour OSHA Training, Exit/ Emergency Lighting, and CPVC.
Cole is a family man from a small town with a beautiful wife, daughter, and son. He is an Idaho native who grew up in a rodeo family and enjoys working cows and training horses.
Jonathan LaFond, Inspections/Fire Sprinkler Design
Jonathan started in the fire sprinkler industry in 2012 and currently holds certifications in Backflow Testing, Aerial Lift, and CPVC. In 2015 he began training in fire sprinkler design and is NICET certified in inspections.
Jonathan was raised in Texas and moved to Boise in 2012. In his spare time he likes to play videogames, basketball, paintball, and hang out with friends.
Payton Nelson, Installations/Inspections
Payton started in the fire sprinkler industry in 2011. He holds certifications in Fall Protection, Fork Lift, Aerial Lift, HILTI and CPVC. Payton has nearly completed his four-year AFSA apprenticeship program and is currently working toward obtaining his state license as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter.
Payton is an Idaho native who enjoys his job and loves spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing.
Jason L. Heath, Fire Alarm & Special Hazard Manager
Jason joined the Fire Protection Industry in 1992. He is a Licensed Limited Energy Journeyman, NICET Level 3 Fire Protection Engineering Technology Fire Alarm Systems, Auto Cad certified, room integrity certified and OSHA safety trained. Well seasoned in fire suppression, including fire sprinklers, clean agent, industrial suppression, kitchen suppression and all types of fire extinguishers. Jason provides excellent leadership in key technologies solutions, including inspections, systems programming, installation, project planning and strategic analyst.
Jason served honorably in the U.S. Army 321st Engineers Battalion Gowen Field Commanders Driver, Signal Specialist and Expert in the Identification, Placement, Relocation and Destruction of Ordinance. Jason enjoys his 30 years serving the Fire Protection Industry. Jason loves to camp, fish and hunt with his lovely wife of 26 years and their three sons.
KP Newman, Inspections / Alarms / Hoods
KP started in the fire protection industry in 2017. He is now working on his NICET Certification in Alarm.
KP enjoys adventuring in the Idaho wilderness. His hobbies include swing dancing, karaoke, writing music, and camping.
